1. Information We Collect

Account information (name, email, password — stored as a salted hash, never in plaintext), organization details you provide during registration, and information you add to a business, education, or student profile. We do not collect payment card details, since Novera does not currently process payments.

2. How We Use Information

To operate your account and Organization, to connect you with other Users you choose to interact with (for example, when you request information from an Education Provider, apply to a Training, or send a Supply Request), to secure your account, and to send account-related email such as a password reset.

3. What We Share, and With Whom

Novera only discloses your name and contact details to another Organization when you take an explicit action that requires it — for example, requesting information from an Education Provider, or being accepted into a Training. Where a feature masks identity until a specific step (for example, a Supply Request or Agent Lead), that identity is not revealed to the other party until that step occurs. We do not sell personal information.

4. Security

Passwords are hashed using scrypt with a per-account salt and are never stored or logged in plaintext. Sessions use rotating, hashed refresh tokens. Login, registration, and password-reset requests are rate limited. We maintain audit logs of security-relevant actions.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and Organization data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us through the Contact page.

6. Your Choices

You control what appears on your business, education, or student profile. Where a feature lets an Organization hide pricing or other details from public view, that choice is respected on public pages and in search.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
